The Pastor
Our Pastor: Rev. Louise Dumas
Rev. Louise Dumas is an ordained Elder in the United Methodist Church and currently serves as our Pastor. Rev. Louise had served as Pastor of the Hockanum United Methodist Church in East Hartford since July of 1999. When the Hockanum UMC merged with the Burnside UMC in July 2006 Rev. Louise, along with the former Burnside UMC's pastor continued to serve the newly merged congregation for their first year as a new congregation; the New Covenant United Methodist Church in East Hartford, CT. In July 2007, she joined our community. Rev. Louise has brought a new found inspiration to the congregation. With her guidance and encouraging spirit, the church is growing spiritually and figuratively.
Rev. Louise provides leadership on the District level by serving on the Connecticut and Western Massachusetts District Committee on Buildings and Location. She also serves on the New England Conference Response Team for Sexual Misconduct.
She is a wonderful asset to both the community and the district.
